Forum Internship Programme

  • Internship programme. Is it worth it? I'm interested in an intern-ship programme as a way to gain experience and also as a way to get my foot in the field. Some of my close friends are trying to discourage me saying that these programs are a rip off and that I'd be better off looking for a 'proper job'. Has anyone in the forum had experience with intern-ship programmes?

      I started one last September (haven't finished it yet) and it is true that the pay is not phenomenal, but I must say that I'm learning a lot and that the experience I'm getting can only help me in the future. As soon as I finish I'm going to start looking for work and I have no doubt that the time spent as an intern will nothing but play in my favour. I totally recommend it.
